44. Potential for contamination during equipment storage observed in the corner of the counter near the three compartment sink.
All violations corrected on site.

Pens stored with knives.
Ladle stored with the food contact surface up.
54. Small garbage can near break area outside the back door was observed without a lid. Keep all garbage covered to prevent pests. Correct by next routine inspection.

2. Person in charge is not a Certified Food Protection Manager. Send proof of registration to Dawn by 5/31/24. If proof of registration is not submitted, a follow up will occur on or after 5/31/24.
8. Observed two employees wash their hands and turn off the water without a barrier.

Had employees rewash hands, and provided education to the person in charge.
45. Observed single service cups, silverware and condiments being store directly beneath the soap next to the handsink. Water from unclean hands could drip onto these items, causing contamination.

Moved single service items to a new location, away from contamination.
58. Person in charge did not have required allergen training. Have CFPMs take allergen training by next routine inspection.

2. The person in charge was not a certified food protection manager. There was no cfpm on site. As a category 2 facility, there must be a certified food protection manager on site at all times the facility is open and operating. The PIC during the inspection was knowledgeable.
Ensure by the next routine inspection, there is a cfpm on site at all times.
8. Observed employees changing tasks and changes gloves but not washing hands. Ensure hands are washed when tasks are changed and gloves are changed. Such as after being at the register and before handling food.
Employees were retrained during the inspection. Corrected on site.
22. Observed the back counter cooler with a temperature of 50F. Cooler was kept closed for about 30-45 minutes and the temperature did not go down. Internal temperatures of every food item in the cooler was taken. All exceeded 45F. The following items were voluntarily discarded: banana peppers, pickles, 4 pizzas, jalenpaneos, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, salami, roast beef, red onion sliced, green pepper sliced, steak, ham and chicken.
Repair or replace cooler. The cooler cannot be used until holding at proper temperature. reinspection will be conducted to ensure the cooler is repaired.
49. Observed the following area with food debris build up- the oven handles and the bread cabinet handles. Observed the area under the soda fountain with what appeared to be a leak/spill.
The soda fountain area is a repeat violation from the last routine inspection. Extended to the next routine inspection. Ensure this area is cleaned by the next routine inspection to avoid possible enforcement.
57. Employees did not have current food handler training. By the next routine inspection, ensure all food handlers have current food handlers certificates.
